About Coffee Board
The Coffee Board of India is an autonomous body functioning under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. The Board serves as a friend, philosopher and guide to the coffee industry in India. The Board, established under an Act of the Parliament of India in the year 1942, focuses on research, development, expansion, quality up-gradation, market information and domestic and external promotions of Indian coffee.
By 1995, the Coffee Board had its own pool (controlled) marketing system of coffee in India. The storm of liberalization engulfed the Indian coffee industry and since 1995, marketing of coffee has become a private sector action. In fact, there was a drastic reduction in the number of employees of Coffee Board and two-thirds of its employees retired under a voluntary retirement scheme.

The Coffee Board of India is an autonomous body functioning under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. Invites candidates for Technical Assistant in the coffee quality division of the coffee board at Bengaluru. Interested and eligible aspirants can apply for this post.
Qualification: MSc in Food Science & Technology/ Chemistry/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Analytical Instrumentation.
Age limit: The Upper age limit should not exceed 35 years as on the date of walk-in-interview.
Pay Scale: Rs. 20,000 per month.
